Greetings Team Heywood, 

Our building will serve as a designated polling location on Tuesday, May 12th. We have established specific entrance and exit procedures to ensure a secure environment for our students throughout the day.

·       Door A (Front Entrance): Grades 1–7 students should report to the front entrance near the driveway by Classroom #1.

·       Location Change: Students who normally report to the auditorium will instead gather in the Gymnasium. Tables will be set up in the gym to accommodate students during this time.

·     Pre-K through 2nd Grade: There are no changes to the arrival routine for these grades. Grades 3–7: Beginning at 8:20 AM, Door B will be opened. Students in these grades may use both Door A and Door B to enter the building.

*** Please make sure to pick up your students on time from the cafeteria. 

*** Music classes will be held in the classroom today. 

*** Please make sure students on the 1st floor have bathroom buddies, are escorted with an adult and/or using the restrooms on the 2nd floor. 

·       There are no changes to the dismissal routine for these grade levels.

·       Please continue to follow the standard procedures at the Annex.

 Grades 3 through 7 Dismissal

All students will be dismissed exclusively through the side doors.

·       Important: To ensure a secure environment, the Main Entrance (Front Doors) will be closed to all student traffic throughout the day.
