About Us

Heywood Avenue School in Orange, New Jersey is a public Pre-K through 7th grade school within the Orange Board of Education. The school emphasizes academic rigor, STEAM readiness, and holistic development in a safe, caring environment. With small class sizes, a diverse student body, and strong family engagement, Heywood Avenue School offers programs in core academics, art, music, world languages, physical education, and special education.
